According to a report from WILX.com, The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is opening waterfowl hunting to young sports enthusiasts.

This weekend, licensed hunters between the ages of 10 and 16 are able to hunt duck, geese, coots, and other waterfowl while accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.

Limits and species restrictions are in effect as they would be in the normal season.
