17-Year-Old Behind Meridian Mall Threat

Friday night's evacuation of the Meridian Mall was caused by 17-year-old Seth Stewart from Lansing. WILX.com reports that he was apprehended by authorities after threatening to "shoot up the building." He was arraigned Sunday morning and posted bail by Sunday night. No weapons were found in the mall Friday night, despite Stewart's claims by witnesses that he had a rifle in his car.

He has been formally charged with a count of making a false report or threat of terrorism.
