An elementary school in Rochester Hills is holding their 'Field Day' today.  Remember Field Day? Races, dodge-ball, kick-ball games, throwing competitions, long jumps...tests of physical ability?  Physical competition!  Mini-Olympics, if you will.

Not at North Hill in Rochester Hills, MI.  The school sent a note home a couple weeks ago telling parents that 'the need for athletic ability and the competitive urge to win will be minimized today, because they 'believe all their students are winners'.

Are you kidding me?!?

One girl at the school thought that was ridiculous and said as much to her mom.  Mom agreed and shared a picture of the flyer, which is getting attention around the world.  Check out the story here.

How does this make our students better people in any possible way?
