47 Year Old Man Didn’t Have Cancer – ‘Tumor’ Was Long Lost Toy

The Guardian reports that a 47 year old British man, a smoker for decades, had a persistent cough for nearly a year (!), so he 'rushed' to the doctor for urgent care of the issue. The doctors took an X-ray of his lungs and spotted a mass they assumed was a malignant tumor.

They 'went in' after the blob, which turned out to be a tiny 'Playmobil' traffic cone he ingested on his 7th birthday. The little plastic toy remained lodged in the guy's lung for nearly 40 years before it started causing him any problems. You'll note that it's now caked in nicotine-tar ick.
