Accident Closes Grand River and Airport Road

An accident has forced the closure of a couple of heavily traveled roads in Mid-Michigan this afternoon. Clinton County Sheriff's Office deputies have closed Grand River Avenue near Capital Region International Airport Thursday afternoon between Waverly and Felton Roads, as well as Airport Road between State Road and Grand River Avenue. Deputies are working to reconstruct the accident scene for investigation and expect the roads to be closed for at least a few hours. Officials can not confirm the extent of any injuries, or whether any lives were lost.
