News has broken today about another investigation into a reported sexual assault involving another MSU Football player. The Detroit Free Press published this story late Thursday morning, stating that a fourth unnamed MSU player is suspended while investigators look into his involvement in a reported sexual assault in Meridian Township.

According to the story, the alleged incident occurred in Meridian Township last Sunday. Meridian Township Police, MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon, MSU Football Coach Mark Dantonio, and Ingham County Prosecutor's Office Spokesman Scott Hughes all confirm the ongoing investigation. Simon and Dantonio both confirmed that a fourth player has been suspended due to the investigation. Meridian Township Police expect their report to be completed and submitted to Ingham County Prosecutor Carol Siemon early next week. Siemon will determine if charges will be filed. The involved player's identity won't be known until charges are filed, if they are filed.

Meanwhile, Siemon's office continues to review a sexual assault incident from January involving three other MSU Football players, also suspended. Staff member Curtis Blackwell has also been suspended as a part of the initial investigation.
