Beware of Latest Scam in Lansing

Got a call this morning from Jim Gorman of Gorman's Food Market on the north side of Lansing, warning me of the latest scam going around. He got a call today from someone claiming to be a Consumers Power representative, threatening to shut off his power by noon for non-payment of bills. This person said that you couldn't go pay your bills AT Consumers Power (not true), but had to give a credit card or other payment method to them over the phone. Gorman told me that he's gotten plenty of scam attempts before, but this was the most professional sounding one he's ever received before.
