Billboard Honors Seger; Michigan Rock Alive and Well

Music industry publisher Billboard has honored a Michigan rocker for his contributions to live music in 2015. Bob Seger will be awarded this year's "Legend of Live" honor during a ceremony in New York this November. According to The Detroit News, Seger's busy tour schedule, sold out venues, both of recent, on top of a celebrated career with two of the best selling live albums of all time were determining factors.

Seger joins past Legend of Live recipients: Lionel Richie in 2014; Elton John and Neil Diamond are also past winners.
