Booby Trapped Marijuana Grow Impales Officer

The word booby trap is so misleading.

Saturday in Grand Rapids, police were responding to a break in at a Medical Marijuana grow operation. One of the police officers jumped a fence and landed on a booby trap with about 100 screws in it. Only 3 screws were impaled in the unlucky officers foot. A security alarm went off and the officers were responding.

The grow operation uses booby traps as obstacle for potential troublemakers. It didn't stop the thieves from breaking in. They were BUSTED inside after trying to flee the scene and now are cooling their heels downtown.
