The Detroit Free Press reports that the city of Cadillac has a celebration planned for tomorrow to commemorate the history visit to Cadillac High School by the band KISS forty years ago. A KISS tribute band will play tomorrow and they'll officially unveil a granite monument next to the football field.

There are different stories about what prompted the visit; some say it was because the band heard that the football team credited KISS music for their 1974 winning season. Others say that a member of KISS was related to a student at the high school. Whatever the case, the legend lives.
