I do not know Hunter Hath. I see the fliers for his benefit all over Fowlerville and Webberville. He is a 4 year-old boy battling cancer. I can tell you from my own experience what hell this is on families. I can also tell you what a positive impact benefits like this have on the family. Not only financially but spiritually. It's nice to know people care and want to help. That energy is very important to those fighting the battle.

When my niece was diagnosed with brain cancer, they told the family stress like this leads to divorce about 50 percent of the time. It can pull the strongest families apart and bring entire communities together.

Saturday 5-8pm at the VFW Post 6464 in Fowlerville will host a benefit dinner for little Hunter. The cost $8 with a silent auction. Everyone is welcome. 215 South Detroit Street, Fowlerville, MI 48836 (517) 223-9842.

Get up with Deb and Joey weekdays 6-10 am. Find out more on Facebook here.
