Chemical Leak Forces Evacuation at MSU

WLNS.com is reporting that an ammonia leak at Michigan State University's Munn Ice Arena has forced an evacuation at the hockey home of Michigan State. Fire crews were called in around 1:00pm this afternoon, and reportedly have contained the chemical leak. There has been no word from authorities about the leak's area of origin, or how much ammonia was released.

As of 2:30pm, WLNS reports that Chestnut St. between Dem Hall and drive and Shaw Lane remains closed to auto and pedestrian travel.
