Back when he was Jud Heatchoate's assistant in the late '80s and early '90s, Tom Izzo was in charge of recruiting then-Detroit Country Day high school superstar Chris Webber to Michigan State.

Obviously, that never worked out, and Webber went on to be a central figure at one of the biggest cheating scandals ever in college sports at the University of Michigan.

But would Webber choose differently if he had it to do over again? He hinted at as much in an interview with Dan Patrick.

Webber said that he considers Izzo a friend and that the Michigan State head coach will be a big part of the autobiography he's working on.

Webber also talked about the "30 for 30" on the "Fab Five" and why he wasn't part of it. Hear it all in the YouTube video above.
