Classic Covers: Love Hurts

I have always been a huge fan of Nazareth. "This Flight Tonight" is one of my all time favorite songs. If you haven't heard it- It's one of my favorite songs of all time.

It'll NEVER get played on the radio. Razamanaz is another face melter. Very rarely did that one get requested but whenever it did. I used to happily play it. I would smile when they wrote me up. Credibility isn't free.

Now, back to Nazareth. One of the songs they are known for is "Love Hurts." My brother in law said it was one of the greatest cover songs ever. I agreed and had to ask who did the original. It was the Everly Brothers.

I am sure you ave heard the Nazareth version. The song is a Classic Rock staple for a reason. I didn't know it was a cover and don't hate the original.
