Couple Greater Lansing Travel Notes & Fire Training Today

Heads up: Eifert road just north of Holt road will be closed until 11:30 today in Delhi Township for fire training.They'll be burning two houses that were donated to the fire department.

Also, WLNS TV 6 reports that there will be a ground fire controlled burn in Meridian Township near the Towar Gardens neighborhood off Lake Lansing road starting at noon today. The target is invasive vegetation and non-native plants. Shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.
