Cute Little Stinkers Meet Cyclist

Having had close encounters of the skunk kind before, the cyclist did exactly the right thing. He didn't move!

While out deer hunting, I saw a pair of skunks amble past my treestand and out to a cut hay field. I used the cover of darkness to get close with my infrared camera to get some video footage. Let's just say that I could have reached out and touched them. Although, one scuff from my foot did alarm smelly li'l feller and he about sprayed me. Tail in the air, I froze! Fortunately for me, they went about their business and I got the heck out of there!
