The first 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' posters have premiered online, and Matt Reeves cannot wait for you to see his installment of this beloved franchise. Not only did the director reveal this new batch of one-sheets, but he also announced that the first trailer will hit the web this coming December 18.

The studio recently bumped up the film's release a week early to July 11, 2014 (the same date for which 'Fast and Furious 7' is currently slated) and the film is sure to turn into an all-out war between Caesar's (Andy Serkis) ape tribe and the human population. Following the events of 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes,' Caesar struggles with his duties as leader of this new species of highly advanced apes, while humanity's dwindling numbers face a new threat in the form of a deadly Simian flu.

Jason Clarke, who's in talks for a lead in the new 'Terminator' trilogy, heads up the human cast along with Keri Russell and Gary Oldman, while Judy Greer voices Caesar's ape love interest. We'll get the first 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' trailer come December 18 at 6:00 am PST/ 9 am EST, which we assume with include some of that intense footage we saw at Comic-Con 2013. Until then, come face-to-face with Caesar and his tribe in the new war paint-slathered posters below.
