December Signs of Spring in Lansing!

I was walking the dog yesterday and saw that the forsythia was starting to turn yellow, which is usually one of the first signs of spring.

We heard this morning from Michelle that she saw a guy mowing the lawn last week; Lumberjack Dave says the maple trees he's been cutting are gushing sap and there's been plenty of golf played so far in this early December. And, we've broken high temperature records all over the state the past couple of days.

Alas, reality returns today with a much cooler day and snow in the forecast for Friday. It was great while it lasted!
