WLNS.com is reporting that Dewitt school officials have confirmed a racially motivated discrimination incident in the hallways of its junior high building. It has been confirmed that a group of students made racially insensitive remarks to minority students while joining arms and forming a wall this week in the wake of Tuesday's election of President -Elect Donald Trump.

Parents in the district reportedly received a letter Friday, notifying them that school officials have identified and disciplined the students involved. No details on what sort of punishment the students face was given in the report.
