“Duran! Where Are You At?”

It's no surprise that I have already been "on vacation" more in the beginning of 2016 than most people are all year. So I thought I would take a moment to explain my vagabond ways.

Since 2006, I have been hosting a show I created called "Wild Michigan." A weekly two hour outdoors radio program that airs on The Michigan Talk Network. We have recorded segments all over the country and in 2015, Ireland.

This year, trips have included the Archery Trade Association show in Louisville, KY. The world's largest gun show called SHOT Show in Las Vegas and last week, I was the emcee for Dick's Sporting Goods at the Bassmaster Classic in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with more local shows in Grand Rapids and Imlay City on the docket for Michigan.

While at the BMC in Tulsa, I ran into Michigan native and probably the most recognized angler in the industry, Kevin Van Dam. A four time Classic winner and 7 time Angler of the Year!
