EA Sports Replaces Tiger Woods With Rory McIlroy

In 1998, EA Sports released the first installment of its new golf game for home gaming consoles featuring the face of the sport, Tiger Woods. Lots of things have changed in the last 18 years, in the world of professional golf, and in Woods' personal life. When EA Sports began its relationship with Tiger, Woods was the world's number one golfer. Nowadays, Rory McIlroy holds that honor.
