Elton John, For All Intents And Purposes, Sells Out Three Michigan Shows

Tickets for Elton John's "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" Tour stops at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and Van Andel Arena went on sale to the public Friday morning. And, they didn't take long to sell.

As of 3:45 PM Friday, looking at Ticketmaster.com, there are nine single standard tickets available (no pairs next to each other) for the Friday, October 12 show in Detroit for $224.50, and 10 pair of platinum tickets (tickets whose prices fluctuate with supply and demand) ranging from the low end price of $696.00 each ($1392 a pair) up to $1854 each.

The Saturday, October 13 show in Detroit has nine pair of the platinum seats available with a high end price of over $3000 each. Otherwise, this show is sold out.

The Monday, October 15 show at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids has nine pair of platinum seats ranging from $660 to $1695 per ticket. One single floor VIP experience ticket remains for $1777.50.

There are plenty of resale tickets available for all three shows. But, as you would expect, you will be paying much more than face value for those seats.
