If you're a sportsperson in Michigan, then you will be hard pressed to stay indoors this weekend! The South Zone opens for duck an Canada geese. Fall turkey is in full swing until November 14th. Small game (squirrel, rabbit, etc.) is open, as well. As we go a little larger, you can always enjoy a little "me time" in a tree stand while bow hunting.

If angling is more your bag, then of course places like Lake Erie are getting ready for the late walleye feeding frenzy. Kings and coho are in  the rivers, making their spawning run. Muskie anglers in Lake St. Clair are hunting for the 50"+ trophies for a little catch and release photo ops. Add a little panfish to the mix and there is no excuse to stay home and hang Christmas lights!

Another option is to just shoot with a camera. The fall colors are in full effect as we enter the cooler, drier days of fall.

October is the perfect time to get kids outdoors and leave no child inside. Michigan is truly a "Winter Water Wonderland." Enjoy it! - Duran
