Additional Information

On the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII, Rally presents “Narratives of WWII,” with Russ McLogan and Mark Woodbury, authors of two harrowing stories about the War.

In Boy Soldier, Russ McLogan, a WWII veteran, gives us a gritty, first-hand account of the War in the Pacific. Boy Soldier was the first narrative about the Pacific Theater.

In Trinity Flight, Mark Woodbury tells the story of his uncle, who accidentally flew his AT-6 through the first atomic bomb test in New Mexico in July 1945. Years later, his uncle fought for recognition of the atomic veterans before the U.S. Congress.

Moderated by Linda Peckham. Both men will discuss the events in their books, and the writing of the material. A Q&A will follow.
