A longtime family business in Laingsburg will temporarily shut down operations following a massive fire that destroyed its main building. According to WILX.com, the main distribution barn at Round Lake Produce and Distributing started fire Friday evening and burned for more than 10 hours before going out.

The business, started in the mid-1970's, supplies stores around Michigan and parts of Ohio and Indiana with fruits and vegetables. While going through the rebuilding process, Round Lake Produce and Distributing will reportedly seek an alternative location to conduct business.
