If you're looking for a different kind of family fun this weekend, look to the north. Well, not as far north as one may think. Just outside of DeWitt, the Forrest Hill Road Airport will feature a flea market and cookout with over 50 vendors. Some flying in vintage T-6 Texan fighter planes!

It all takes place this Saturday September 10th from 9 - 5 PM at 7415 South Forrest Hill Road, St. Johns. A special shout out to the step-father of Barbara Mackie. Barb says that "Dad" turned 90 and has been flying for 75 years! He has also been mowing the 17 acre runway all week in preparation for the big event.

Other great attractions will be the DeWitt Township Fire Department and the Capitol Area Humane Society who will be on hand to take donations for the 188 cats that were recently rescued. There will be no charge to attend the event, and there will be food vendors on hand with lots of great surprises. For more fly-in info, visit their Facebook page by clicking here. WEEKEND FLY-IN
