The Lansing State Journal reports that soon-to-be former Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings III has filed to receive retirement benefits from his almost twenty years as our County's lead prosecutor of lawbreakers.

Dunnings is currently 'on leave' for treatment and his resignation won't take effect until next month. He is facing prostitution related crimes in three counties, including a felony charge for allegedly coercing a woman into allowing him to pay her for sex. That woman was reportedly seeking help in a child custody dispute.
