The EXPERTS at ESPN have spoken and it's good news for former Spartan Jeremy Langford. The experts say he was the Bears rookie of the year. Langford also joined Hall of Famers Walter Payton and Gale Sayers as the only players in team history with 100 receiving yards, one rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown in a single game.

He was a 4th round draft pick. Click here to see the full story. For the Lions CB Quandre Diggs was voted their rookie of the year. Former Spartan Trae Waynes is also a future star at cornerback in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings.

Ask any Spartan fan who the best back ever to play at MSU is and I bet his name never comes up. Lorenzo and LeVeon are the first names that usually pop up. Jeremy had 7 more career TD's than LeVeon Bell at MSU. LeVeon is now considered one of the best NFL backs, when he's healthy. Lorenzo White is the name you hear the most. Langford could have as good of pro career as either one. He went to the pros with less miles.

Success in the NFL for former Spartans is great for recruiting. What a great time it is to see our former Spartans excelling on Sunday. Kirk Cousins is due for a FAT contract, Jack Conklin is a another likely First Round pick... It's a great time to be a Spartan.

Rumors are in Chicago, the Bears see Langford as their future back. He played wide receiver and cornerback before getting a shot at running back at MSU. A blue collar story that is Pure Michigan. Congrats to our Michigan made star.
