Talk about a tough break...according to mlive.com, former MSU fullback Trevon Pendleton was cut by the Baltimore Ravens Friday after sustaining a broken foot in a Rookie mini-camp. The injury is reportedly to his fifth metatarsal and could take up to eight weeks to heal. Pendleton signed a waiver along with his undrafted free agent contract, allowing the team to make the roster move.

It's a challenging scenario for Pendleton, but he isn't necessarily through with his NFL dreams. The Ravens could decide to bring him back after the injury heals. He could get another opportunity with another NFL team. Or, if all else fails, Pendleton expressed his interest in getting into the coaching ranks if he runs out of playing options.
