Houghton Lake, Michigan, had the lowest gas prices in the land for a brief while last month, making national news with the story; looks like Ohio topped it over the weekend!

Consumerist.com reports that one man had a "dead empty" tank when he stopped at a gas station in north Toledo early Sunday morning and it only– cost him 26 cents to fill er up. That was at a Pilot Travel Center – apparently, a computer glitch dropped the price of gas to pennies per gallon. The Circle K across the street saw it as a gas war and dropped their price per gallon to a ridiculous low as well. Given the timing, not too many people got in on the super low prices.
