Funny Money Passed to Kids in Hawaii Not As Bad as Guy Who Stole $600 From Lansing Girl Scout
Oh, Man - ripping off the Girl Scouts will get you a special place in Hell.Or jail.
KHON TV reports that a troop of Girl Scouts in Hawaii had set up shop to sell cookies outside a Walmart this past Friday. The kids didn't realize they'd been duped until they took their money to the bank to deposit it; that's when the bank determined that girls had been slipped a fake $50.
Pitiful, but still not as bad as Thomas C. Hawkins of Lansing, who stole $600 from a Lansing Girl Scout selling cookies outside the Kmart on Cedar Street in Lansing last year. The Lansing State Journal reports that Hawkins, who has a history of violent crimes, was sent to prison last year.
