You knew it was coming with the Fourth of July in sights. But, overall, the increase at gas pumps across the state isn't too sharp. WLNS.com reports that prices for regular unleaded gasoline has risen by a statewide average of 4 cents per gallon to around $2.36.

The good news is, that average statewide is around 12 cents less than a year ago. And, for those of us in Lansing, keep your eyes peeled for a low price of $2.13 reported at a local gas station.
