Recently we heard that General Motors would be cutting the third shift at the Lansing Delta Township Plant, which would result in 1,100 layoffs.
General Motors released a statement today indicating that they will add or retain around 900 jobs at three Michigan operations in the year ahead. 500 of those positions will be at LDT for production support of the new model Traverses and Enclaves.
