According to WILX.com, General Motors has idled production at the Lansing Grand River assembly plant, affecting nearly 2,700 workers. Production on Chevy Camaros and Cadillac CTS and ATS models was reportedly interrupted Wednesday night and through the day Thursday. the plant will halt production on Friday as well.

A fire at a parts supplier's warehouse is blamed for the shutdown. GM will not name the supplier.
