Grand Ledge Finally Has a Korean War Memorial

Our friend Mike Coll asked us let you know that the Memorial Day Parade in Grand Ledge will start at 11AM Saturday, followed by a ceremony on the bridge. After that there will be a ride to Oakwood Cemetery for the formal dedication of the Korean War Memorial, finally recognizing those who made the Ultimate Sacrifice in the 'forgotten war'.

Coll says the American Legion Riders Post 48 in Grand Ledge has been holding raffles and various events for the past 5 years in order to raise money for this memorial.
