Great Lakes Water Temps are Warmer This Year

MLive.com reports that the Great Lakes water temperatures are overall a few degrees warmer this year than last year. If that sustains, sounds like the weather won't be as cold this winter as a result. Yay!

Check out the two maps comparing last year's temps to this year's; interesting that the warmer surface temps extended a good deal north of Muskegon last year, while those do seem a bit cooler than this time last year.
