Greater Lansing Broadcaster Jo Anne Paul-Stanton Remembered

I was saddened last week to learn from a colleague that Jo Anne Paul-Stanton had died of cancer. I met Jo Anne a couple times over the years, but I didn't really get to know her until she went to work across the hall from the WMMQ studio a few years back (was it really ten years ago?). Jo Anne had a tumbleweed-dry sense of humor and great passion for life, her family, her work. And for little yippy dogs. She was only 57 years old.

The world has lost a talented journalist and a unique human being.

The Lansing State Journal spoke with her husband Terry Stanton, who talks about falling in love with her at first sight back when they worked at WEYI Channel 25 in Flint.
