BBC Radio 2 listeners chose from a list of 100 guitar riffs and concluded that Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" is the greatest guitar riff of all time.

Second place went to "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns 'N' Roses, AC/DC’s "Back in Black",  Deep Purple’s "Smoke On The Water" and “Layla” by Derek and The Dominoesrounded out the top five choices.

The 'Top 10 guitar riffs of all time', according to the BBC Radio 2 poll, are:

3. “Back in Black,” AC/DC
