WLNS TV 6 reported that they've got 140 trucks on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing today to pour 1,400 cubic yards of concrete for the foundation of the new FRIB facility.

WMMQ 'Guest Reporter' Melissa Parsons says the concrete, which they started pouring at 3AM today, will be four feet deep and take a year to cure! Apparently every concrete company in Lansing was hired for today's job. If all goes as planned, they'll pour the concrete 'roof' this Fall.
