I-96 Eastbound Lanes Re-Open near Brighton

WLNS.com reports that eastbound I-96 near Brighton is once again open to traffic this morning after crews completed demolition of the Pleasant Valley Road bridge overnight.

The eastbound lanes here have been closed since Wednesday evening after a truck carrying construction equipment struck the bridge, damaging its support beams to the point the bridge needed to be demolished and rebuilt.
