After saying that he would return for his fifth year of eligibility, Michigan State running back L.J. Scott (pictured) revealed, via his Twitter account, that he will forego his final year of eligibility and enter next spring's NFL Draft.

Scott's tweet from Wednesday night:

Scott has been beset by injuries in 2018, his true senior season.  He considered turning pro after the 2017 season, but decided to return to East Lansing.

The Spartans, 7-5 in 2018, play 8-4 Oregon in the Redbox Bowl on New Year's Eve in Santa Clara, California.  Scott is expected to play in that game.
