Ingham County Approves Funds To Investigate Sheriff’s Office Evidence
WLNS.com is reporting an approval from Ingham County officials to pay for a special investigator to assist Michigan State Police in their audit on the Ingham County Sheriff's Office evidence room.
The WLNS report says that the individual will be a retired Ingham County Assistant Prosecutor. This unnamed individual will cost the county up to $20,000. Officials say the person's familiarity with the county justice system will aid in the audit.
