Michigan State University Fisheries and Wildlife Club held their annual cleanup of the Red Cedar River this past weekend, where hundreds of volunteers, including MSU students and alumni.

The Lansing State Journal reports that in years past, this group has fished a LOT of beer bottles, dozens of bicycles, SEVERAL futons, construction signs, mopeds, a lawn mower and a motorcycle out of the Red Cedar.

Thanks to all who were part of the solution instead of part of the problem on Saturday, which wrapped up National Volunteer Week.
