“It’s Only Weird if it Doesn’t Work”

We were hanging out with friend Deb K yesterday afternoon -- she was wearing not only her MSU jersey, but her MSU socks -- her LUCKY socks.  She said to My Honey that she totally understands his sports related superstitions, like wearing his Red Sox hat to bed during the World Series; she mentioned that the ONLY time she didn't wear her lucky socks this past Spartan football season was for the Notre Dame game.  Which they lost.  Her big quote regarding superstitions: "It's only weird if it doesn't work!" So logic would have it that Deb K wearing her Lucky Spartan Socks is what secured the win last night.  But that's my logic, not necessarily rooted in real logic. Dr. Spock would not agree with me, I imagine.  Though he would have no feelings about it.
