It’s Talk Like a Pirate Weekend!

Listen up, Lubbers.

I was so bummed to see tomorrow was National Talk Like Pirate Day. It is one of my
favorite days of the year and I'm bummed because Deb and I won't get to annoy you by talking like Pirates all day.

Get all the OFFICIAL Talk Like a Pirate sayings here. I love everything about talking like a pirate. In fact, at the Michigan Renaissance Festival, almost everyone talks like a pirate. It sounds better when you order a Barbarian Burger in a pirate accent.

The Simpson's "Sea Captain" is one of my all-time favorite pirates. My pirate accent is fashioned after his. The "Frying Dutchman" is the pirate on Spongebob Squarepants. He is voiced by Bill Murray's brother Brian Doyle-Murphy.
