WLNS TV 6 reports that the Jackson School District says the City of Jackson owes them over $57,000.00, because the District was double billed for water. That conclusion was made when construction crews working outside Jackson High School’s football stadium over the summer found two water meters on the same line, so the district was getting double billed for water. The district says that the City initially offered to cough up $2,000.00, but the District said, "Ah...no. Go fish." (Not literally - I'm paraphrasing.)

Get all the details here at WLNS to see where the negotiations are at the moment. I'm just saying, if I overpaid, I would like that money back or a full credit.
