How important is a the Quarter Back position to Michigan Wolverine coach Jim Harbaugh?

He just offered a 13-year-old from Southfield High School a scholarship.  Which means he's planning ahead to the 2024 season.  So, I'd say pretty darn important.  Harbaugh had to have him after a visit to Southfield according to the Detroit Free Press,

During a visit to Southfield A&T, Harbaugh watched film of seventh-grade quarterback Isaiah Marshall, currently a youth football player in Southfield and the son of former Brother Rice and Northwestern running back Brian Marshall.

Shortly after Harbaugh left the school, he called the elder Marshall with some news: That 13-year-old Isaiah was about to be the youngest player to receive a scholarship offer from Michigan.

Isaiah Marshall, who I am sure is the most popular student at his school today, posted this tweet:

This offer comes just a couple weeks after #7 Michigan got destroyed by #10 Florida 41-15 in the Peach Bowl.

Best of luck to the Wolverines and this young football superstar.
