WILX.com reports that work is set to begin at one of the area's most congested intersections. Travelers at Jolly Road and Okemos Road will see barrels going up this week as crews work on a sewer line. The report says this project will last about two weeks.

However, the Ingham County Road Department has already announced that the intersection is due to undergo a major transformation with the addition of turn lanes, resurfacing at the intersection, new sidewalks, gutters, and stoplight. The county's website does not put a timeline on completion.
