Some people have it and don't realize they have it and end up making some terrible decisions. Then, bad decisions compound. Some try to numb out life with drugs and some just disconnect from their previous lives. Most people try to run but PTSD ALWAYS catches up with you and usually at the most inopportune times. If you have it, you need some help.

I began talk therapy the same year I got hurt. As I talked, I began to say things that I couldn't believe. Stuff I never imagined came out of my mouth. I wasn't a big fan of it before but after I saw a value in it. TALK THERAPY WILL NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE!! But parts of it did work for me... For a while.
