Former Michigan State basketball player Keith Appling is in trouble with the law. Again.

Appling, 24, was arrested early Saturday morning in Detroit for carrying a concealed weapon, WDIV reports. He was in the backseat of his brother's car when they were pulled over speeding.

This latest arrest is just six days from when Appling is scheduled to appear in court on charges from an incident in May.

Appling was arrested on May 1 at a Dearborn strip club and charged with two weapons offense and a misdemeanor drug charge. Police found a handgun and another loaded gun in Appling's trunk, as well as a small amount of marijuana.

Appling played with the Orlando Magic for a brief spell in the NBA this season. He also played in the D-League with the Magic’s affiliate, the Erie BayHawks this season.

Appling played at MSU from 2010-2014 averaging over 10 points per game in over 140 games played.
